Over the Rainbow offers both funded and private sessions to its customers. This allows flexible and more affordable childcare costs for families.

Funding received from the government is either applied termly to your booking or can be stretched for 51 weeks of the year.

For example, for a private booking of 3 days all year round, you would receive 3 days funding at no cost to yourself during term time (for 38 weeks). Full fees will apply during non term time.

For example, for a booking of 2 days all year round, you would receive 2 days funding at no cost to yourself all year round for 51 weeks of the year (equating to your funding entitlement)

Optional extra charges associated with meals or wrap around care is provided, but this is at your own discretion.

In accordance with statutory regulation we do cannot apply more than 10 funded hours per day under any circumstances. Funding is applied prior to any additional charges being added your account for extra days required and a minimum number of hours is 5 hours per week (half day) in order to funding to be accessed at the nursery.

As we are a private day nursery, we are only able to offer a limited number of funded only sessions. We recommend that parents enquire early and book their space in order to avoid disappointment.

TAX FREE CHILDCARE

We happily accept payments via the government Tax Free Childcare Scheme. This is a government led scheme where for every £8.00 you pay into your account, the government will pay in £2.00 for you to use to pay to your provider. You can claim up to £2000.00 per child or £4000 if your child has a disability. You can get Tax-Free Childcare at the same time as 15 or 30 hours free childcare if you’re eligible for both.  To create an account you can follow the link provided:-

CHILDCARE VOUCHERS

Whilst most childcare voucher schemes are closed to new applicants, we do accept child care vouchers from our current providers.

SALARY SACRIFICE SCHEMES

In some circumstances, it may be possible for your employer to pay your childcare costs from your gross salary before Tax and National Insurance payments are deducted. This can save a significant amount of money in terms of childcare costs. It may be worthwhile enquiring with your employer if they support a salary sacrifice scheme.
